Who We Are

Alisa is the Chief Financial Officer and a Partner at Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since 2019.

Prior to HPVP, she spent over 17 years at GCM Grosvenor in various roles, most recently as a Principal in Operational Due Diligence, overseeing hedge fund strategies. Alisa began her career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen.

Allison is a Partner at Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since 2019.

Prior to HPVP, Allison ran business operations for Civis Analytics, a Chicago-based data science software startup. She also Co-Founded Flag Analytics, a predictive analytics company focused on public safety, and spent her early career in healthcare consulting at Accenture. Allison has led and manages HPVP's investments in Certiverse, CoPilot, and FactoryFix, among others.

Carlos is a Vice President at Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since 2021.

Prior to HPVP, Carlos was an associate at Mesirow Financial in the Private Equity Real Estate team where he focused on acquisitions and asset management. Additionally, Carlos was a Co-Founder and Director at Angeles Investors. He received his BBA at the University of Notre Dame.

Greg is a Partner at Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since 2014.

Prior to HPVP, Greg was the COO of Piece & Co., and previously led strategy, new venture development, and corporate venture investing at Redbox. Greg has led or co-led a number of HPVP investments including ShipBob, VNDLY (acquired by Workday), Hubdoc (acquired by Xero), Pear Deck (acquired by GoGuardian), Provi, Zengines, AugX, Blackcart, and Diffit, among others.

Guy is a Partner at Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since its beginning in 2011.

Prior to HPVP, Guy worked for the Boston Consulting Group where he focused on corporate strategy across a variety of industries. Previously, he served as an Associate and Investing Member with Hyde Park Angels, and spent his early career as a mechanical engineer with Raytheon and General Electric. Guy has led investments in a number of software companies and manages HPVP's investments in Dentologie, Investnext, and Aegle, among others.

Ira is a Partner with Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since its beginning in 2011.

Ira is also a professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he teaches entrepreneurship and accounting. Ira is involved in our investments in AuditSight, Fourkites, G2, HData, LandscapeHub, Leap, PartySlate, RoadSync, ShipBob, Slip Robotics and Streamlink Software. He was formerly involved in 2ndKitchen (acq by REEF), BaseCRM (acq by Zendesk), Cove Markets (acq by Robinhood), FairX (acq by Coinbase), NestEgg (acq by Truehold), ParkWhiz (acq by FlashParking), Preflight (acq by Applitools), and Tock (acq by SquareSpace).

Prior to HPVP, Ira was the Managing Director at Hyde Park Angels and was a partner at RK Ventures.  He spent his early career in public accounting.

Jim is the Talent Advisor and a Partner at Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since 2021.

In this role, Jim provides strategic talent support and consulting to the firm and portfolio companies. Prior to HPVP, Jim served as head of people at dscout and Sprout Social — both Chicago-based software startups.  In these roles, Jim built, grew, and oversaw teams across recruitment, talent management, DEI, culture, HR and benefits strategy.  The impact of this work is seen in awards from Glassdoor, Chicago Tribune, Crain’s Chicago, and Built in Chicago. Jim holds a M.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from Northwestern University and a B.A. in Communications from Boston College.

Olivia is the Operations Manager at Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since 2022.

Prior to HPVP, Olivia served as Recreation Supervisor for the Village of Lincolnwood. Olivia is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional within NRPA and serves as a Managing Partner for V2:VC.

Olivia holds a MBA from the Brennan School of Business and a BA in Corporate Communications, both from Dominican University.

Victoria is a Vice President at Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since 2022.

Prior to joining HPVP, Victoria was Co-Founder and COO of startups across edtech, mobile gaming, fintech and adtech. She has built and operated companies from the ground up, meaning she’s done everything from hiring to fixing toilets to launching and leading a new office across the country.

Victoria holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from UCLA and a MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Tim is currently a Senior Advisor with Hyde Park Venture Partners and has been with the firm since 2015, serving previously in roles as an Investing Partner, portfolio company CEO & Operating Partner.

Prior to HPVP, Tim was the CMO of ExactTarget where he helped grow the company to $400M in revenue, through IPO, and to a $2.7B sale to Salesforce.
