Parkwhiz has secured $20M in Series D funding — with plans to bring its parking app to more cities and improve its connected and autonomous technology. Hyde Park Venture Partners initially invested in ParkWhiz back in 2013 from our first fund, and has subsequently attracted capital from Jump Capital (led the Series B) and then Baird Capital (led the Series C).
Led by NewSpring, other backers in the round include Baird Capital, Jump Capital and Beringea. To date, Parkwhiz has raised $56 million, since its launch in 2007.
Based in Chicago, ParkWhiz provides seamless access to thousands of parking lots and garages in over 190 cities across North America, with hundreds of new facilities joining the network every month. Existing Parkwhiz partnerships include Ford, Ticketmaster, Groupon, StubHub and newly-announced Indianapolis Colts, as well as many others.
Expanding rapidly with already more than 300 distribution partners, the ParkWhiz Platform provides over 40 million consumers with parking reservations and friction-free, drive-up access in garages and lots through sports teams and venues, events, travel providers, airlines, hotels, automotive OEMs, and navigation systems. In all, there is a Parkwhiz presence in more than 190 cities throughout North America.
