InContext Solutions is a software and market research company that uses proprietary 3D internet-based virtual shopping software to collect, study and analyze the shopping behavior of survey respondents over the internet. They provide software and services to many of the largest CPGs in the world.
InContext uses its software to create 3D virtual stores that can stream over the web. Consumer panels are invited to shop in the virtual environment to test how new packages and products sell relative to existing designs and brands. This methodology reduces the cost of conducting mall intercepts to do similar testing with software that must be installed locally on a PC, as is done with most major 3D competitors’ software.
